Gun Store and Indoor Shooting Range

Robert's Gun Rack is a full service indoor pistol range with six lanes. Everything you need for your small arms target shooting needs is available including rental gun, targets, and ammunition.

As a licensed FFL dealer, Robert sells small arms, rifles, and shotguns. A variety of gun accessories is available in the store.

Located in Mobile, Alabama at 7730 Old Shell Road. Going east on Airport, take Schillinger road north to Old Shell. Turn left and Robert's Gun Rack is located on the left.  Going west on Airport, turn right on Cody Road to Old Shell. Turn left on Old Shell and Robert's Gun Rack is located about two miles on the right. Ammunition Sales Are Limited

Due to ammunition supply shortages, at this time we are only able to sell factory ammunition in conjunction with a firearm purchase. We are not selling any ammunition separately. All our reloaded ammunition is reserved for range use only. Please call ahead if you plan on purchasing ammunition in the store for use on the range, as we periodically run out of various calibers.

We estimate that it will take several months for the ammunition supply shortages to resolve.

Range Safety Policy

Safety on the range is our top priority. Therefore, a certain level of handgun experience is required to shoot on the range. Experience with rifles and shotguns will not be accepted as a substitute for experience with a handgun. First-time handgun shooters and those with insufficient experience must bring someone with them who is very experienced with handguns. Each individual will be asked about their level of experience before being allowed on the range.

Basic Rules of Firearm Safety

1. Handle all firearms as if they were loaded
2. Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction
3. Keep your finger out of the gun's trigger guard and off the trigger until you have aligned the gun's sights on a safe target and have made the decision to fire.
4. Always be certain that your target and the surrounding area are safe before firing.
